Fourth of July

Don't you just love the Fourth? Hard to believe that a little over two hundred years ago we were just pushing for our independence as a country. It's because of that independence that we writers can do what we do. In today's society I write what is called 'racy' books. But if our forefathers hadn't put aside their own wants for the needs of fledgling nation, we wouldn't be here. Sure, they knew the risks but in reality they were counting on the benefits. Things like taxation, land restrictions, religion and a host of other things. I for one am very grateful that they decided that this nation's agenda somehow coincided with their own. Tomorrow, I'll get back to the writing thing. Hope you all had a good Fourth. Lynn
