Loving the Scotsman ~ @oddlynn3 #Saturday7 #MSSWeek35 #LynnCrain

Welcome to week 35 at My Sexy Saturday from Vienna, Austria. This week has been very strange weather wise as today it is bright and sunny. Most of the week has been dull and gray but I knew we’d have some sun soon as those gray clouds had cleared late in the afternoon. I am feelings for those in the States again as the weather has turned blustery and more than frigid. Everyone please take care so you can all drop by next week.

Just to recap, this is My Sexy Saturday, a weekly blog hop where authors share sexy snippets of their books with 7 words, 7 sentences or 7 paragraphs. Each week we entertain you through our snippets that we post. This is for you, our readers, as we value and appreciate each one of you.

I have moved on to Chapter 6 of Loving the Scotsman. I’m only going to highlight one more chapter in this book before I move on to other stories. I think I’ve given everyone a great look into this story. I’m hoping you’ll want to read it because it will make you laugh, feel sad and sometimes cry as you follow the join of reunited lovers.

Just for those who are new to the Loving the Scotsman world: When two lovers reunite in Edinburgh after a fifteen year hiatus, the sparks fly. The hero coerces said heroine to spend her remaining time with him…hmmm…let’s just say more than sparks light up the room. This scene is right after they have made passionate love. And yeah, these two really get into this week’s meme of being come undo sexy. They even comment to each other that they are like rabbits. Look back at the other weeks and you will see what I mean.

I loved writing this story as I got to stretch my wings a lot. It’s told totally in 1st person from both the heroine and hero. It’s a very unique approach and I had to talk to a lot of men, especially the dear husband, when creating the hero Logan. Here are my sexy 7 sentences for the week. Enjoy!

His lopsided grin endeared him even more. “I bet you say that to all the guys.”
My mind said I needed to frown but my mouth couldn’t as I returned his grin. I brushed aside the sweaty curls from his brow, kissing him gently before laying my cheek against his shoulder, his intoxicating aroma filling my nose. “Sorry to disappoint you but there aren’t any other guys as you put it.”
“Come on, Aeryn. I’m not stupid or arrogant enough to think there haven’t been other men in your life.”

Please visit all the great authors from My Sexy Saturday weekly blog hop listed below. If you want more on this story, here are a few links to the previous snippets.

Have a great weekend...see you next week!

Lynn

  1. Yes, we have that same weather up here in Canada. On the news, they showed a snowbank that was 11ft high. Still cold today -15C and snow expected tonight. I'm SO looking forward to spring.

Very sweet excerpt! Has she been waiting for him all that time? Or maybe no one else could measure up. :)

  3. Self-effacing and obliging. How can Aeryn ever turn him away?
