My Sexy Saturday ~ The Thing About Elves ~ @oddlynn3 #MSSWeek15

Welcome to the fifteenth week of My Sexy Saturday.

My Sexy Saturday is a weekly blog hop where authors share sexy bits of our books. Each week we entertain readers via our individual weekly blog posts, through tweeting our sexy tweets along with Facebook notices as you read the words, snippets and excerpts posted. This is for our readers as we value and appreciate each one of you.

At My Sexy Saturday we embrace the thought that everyone has their own idea of sexy. But sexy is more than just a physical act or where it can happen. It is an attitude that has nothing to do with looks or status. It has to do with how we feel about ourselves, our lovers and the world around us. Sexy isn’t a size or doesn’t demand perfect. We know what sexy is and we want to share it with you.

Sexy can be that slow smile given across the room, reminding a lover of their connection. Sexy can be the first time or the hundredth time...it all depends upon your perspective. A look, a touch, clothes on or off, it doesn’t matter. At My Sexy Saturday, we will bring you our idea of sexy with seven words, seven sentences or seven paragraphs every week.

We’re still in book 2 of my Santa’s Elves series, The Thing About Elves. We’ve moved a little further along in the book and Ardan is definitely in love with Angie yet still hopes it’s just a passing fancy. Enjoy!

The moment of truth had arrived. Ardan wanted to tell her everything, but for some reason held back for just a second.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to,” she whispered, the hurt evident in her voice.
Looking down into the violet eyes, he realized that he wanted to tell this woman everything. He felt compelled to link with her in such a way that she would be his forever. He just wanted to make sure everything was as perfect as he could make it, even though he knew in the back of his mind that nothing remained perfect for long. “I’ll tell you what I think you should know. That is, until you get bored. My life is really boring, you know.”
“Boring? You have got to be kidding. Your life seems absolutely fascinating in ways that I can only imagine.”
“Not kidding. But why don’t you sit down in front of the fire and I’ll go get some hot chocolate?”
“Do you have something besides whiskey to put in the cocoa?” she questioned tentatively.
Half frowning at her, he chuckled. “Don’t like the whiskey?”

  8. I think it's important to know that a man can be just as vulnerable as a woman. Sometimes more so if they've been hurt before like Ardan.

Thanks for stopping by, Jessica...appreciate it!
