Welcome to week 111^th week of My Sexy Saturday. There really isn’t a theme this week but it’s all about Sexy Today. This week we’re allowed to post whatever we want because we are celebrating the End of Summer 100^th Blog Anniversary Bash. You can find the Facebook event here. This week, I think you’ll love what I have. When trying to decide just what I was going to share, I decided to go back to what has become my favorite contemporary novel, Loving the Scotsman. This story is with my agent and I have great hopes for it. If you don’t know what this novel is about, just search on the title and you’ll get a lot of exciting excerpts. Here’s the setup:

Eryn Delancie is ready to move away from corporate law and find something new. When she runs into her ex-lover, Logan MacKenzie, through a chance encounter she wonders if he could be part of her new life since their horrible breakup fifteen years ago. The barriers between them are immense and fraught with secrets on both sides, forcing them to overcome past wrongs as they forge a future together.

Here’s my seven sexy paragraphs from Loving the Scotsman:

He began kissing and rubbing my body, pinching my nipples before sucking them briskly with his mouth as he arched me back over his arm. I could feel his hard dick push my inner buttons with firm hits as the sound of bare flesh against bare flesh filled the room. Sweat glistened our bodies. I groaned and leaned in to kiss him yet again as I craved even more contact with this man. I gazed at him through lowered lids as he pushed into my body slowly, the sensations even more intense than before.

“Logan—please—” I panted, realizing this man was right. I would fly with the stars with a few more well placed strokes.

“Please what, Eryn?”

His voice, thick with passion, slid down me again like a well-placed caress, making me even more responsive to him. All of the sudden, my concentration was on where we were joined, the feel of his hardness in my ultra-slick body, the movement of him going in and out, the awareness and wonder of just how he could do this to me over and over again yet I never seemed to get enough. I was doomed to a lonely existence if I couldn’t be with this man.

My head went back as a low keening sound erupted from me. He was true to his promise as my very being was flung to the stars and beyond. It would be a long time before I returned to earth from this one. He leisurely thrust himself into me again and again, the sensitivity in my body doing double time. The force of the second orgasm slammed into me with the power of a meteor hitting our fair planet. It was that intense, that much over the edge than anything I’d ever felt before.

I cried out and clutched him to me, trying my best not to let my emotions get the best of me. No power, no power, I kept reminding myself as I tried to concentrate on him and his need. “Lay back,” I whispered and tried to push him down.

I went with him as he went back on the bed. I moved my hands over his chest and saw the desire still blazing in his eyes. Nothing changed, yet everything had. Then it hit me, hit me hard, I really would never love anyone like I loved this man. He would have been my whole world if life hadn’t intervened. I vowed to myself right then to fill these two weeks with moments and memories to last a lifetime.

Welcome to week 87^th week of My Sexy Saturday. The week’s theme is Are You Sexy and it’s about those characters that are naturally sexy. I knew immediately just what characters exuded sexy without really caring about how he looks. He’s a natural and his name is Logan MacKenzie of the contemporary Clan MacKenzie from the heart of Scotland. He’s the hero in my book, Loving the Scotsman. This book is with my agent right now and she’s patiently waiting for me to complete the second book in the series before we move forward. Unfortunately, the editing on the second book is coming along slowly. It was my Camp NaNo book last year and boy is it ever the ugly duckling. But we’re whipping it into shape and hopefully this trilogy will be with a NYC publisher in no time. I’ll keep you posted. Here’s my snippet from Loving the Scotsman and pictured is my idea of Logan since I obviously don’t have a cover yet:

“I get by.” He continued to walk, not even turning to acknowledge the fact I actually enquired about something personal.

“Boy, friendly, aren’t you?” I muttered under my breath. Suddenly, I found myself pinned against the wall. Not in a bad way mind you but in a sexual, predatory way. I sensed my heart would leap from my chest any moment now as its cadence boomed deep within me. I watched him consume me with his eyes, hot smoldering eyes spoke of sin and sex and heaven only knew what other delights.

What do you want me to say, Eryn?” He leaned into my hair as if breathing in the scent. “Did you expect me to say something like ‘Hi, honey, I’ve missed you these past fifteen years’?  Or would you rather I cut right to the chase and take you right here?”

My eyes opened wide, my body dripping with desire as my nipples hardened. I wanted this man like no other but I couldn’t…no, it wouldn’t do to let him know that fact…not one little bit. I hadn’t expected the anger and maybe his emotion had something to do with last night. “Ah—actually—ah, I just came for my underwear.” I swallowed hard and watched him look at the workings of my throat. I realized it would take little to entice him to place his mouth there.

Slowly, he leveraged himself away from me, making sure I felt every bulge and muscle in his entire body. “Like I said, no can do.” He turned to continue down the hall. I followed him into a rather large office with a splendid view of Edinburgh Castle.

“Wow.” I could only stare at the castle dominating the scene. “You get to look at that every day?” I glanced at him amazed at the wonder I saw in his eyes. He was as affected by what stood out the window as I was.

“I do.” He indicated a dark leather chair in front of his desk as I returned to the reality of the situation.

This book is a big one and comes in just under 100K, so be prepared for a nice long read when it comes out. For those who are new to the Loving the Scotsman world: Two lovers reunite in Edinburgh after a fifteen year hiatus and the sparks fly. The hero coerces said heroine to spend her remaining time in Scotland with him…hmmm…let’s just say more than sparks light up the room. In this scene, our heroine realizes her best friend hasn’t told her everything about her current man. It makes her wonder just what else her friend kept from her but there is more to it. She is hiding a secret from the hero and talking about secrets reminds her of her own.

I loved writing this story. It’s told totally in 1^st person from both the heroine and hero. It’s a very unique approach and I had to talk to a lot of men, especially the dear husband, when creating the hero Logan. Here are my sexy 7 sentences for the week. Enjoy!

“Why? Because you’re realizing your friend kept secrets from you?” His deep familiar chuckle strummed down my spine like caressing fingertips.

Closing my eyes, I drew in a calming breath before I slowly opened them. “You’re absolutely right. I see where our relationship had some holes in it and that makes me sad. I wonder why she kept this relationship to herself.”

Welcome to week 40 at My Sexy Saturday from my home town in the States. This week was full of surprises as I prepared for some life changes like setting up assisted living for my 79 yo father who is now recovering nicely. However, when I woke up this morning and realized I had lost track of the date, I wasn’t happy.

How I found out was when my dear, dear husband called and sang Happy Anniversary to me. It was a wake up call that I needed a rest hence the repeat of what was on the My Sexy Saturday page. After all, about noon I got a wonderful bouquet of flowers that again had me sputtering tears of joy. I have one of those rare men who knows how to make my day even after all these years.
