Welcome to week 140^th week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is A Sexy Dance. And I so love this theme because I don’t get to use it much but there is nothing more sexy than a dance.

As predicted, May is a month of change. We’ve been in New Mexico this past week and it does appear that this is where my husband will be posted. We’ve been looking at homes and all sorts of other things. I’ll be doing a post on the details this week.

Here this week’s My Sexy Saturday post. I have chosen another one of my books from eXtasy Books, An Elf’s Magic. This books is from my Santa’s Elves series and I love this series. I do hope to finish it this year. Here’s the set up for An Elf’s Magic.  

Lacey Sinclair wants to be a doctor but life and circumstance has made that path impossible. Given the chance at the job of a lifetime and the promise of enough money to see her through med school, she is hesitant. Something draws her to one certain man that she can’t put her finger on. Her body is alive and her mind sharp, focused when she’s near him. So before she can live the life of her dreams, she must discover just who Cuinn Lochlin is to her and her future.

  

Here’s my seven paragraphs from this great story:

Quinn looked out over the crowd and wished he could dance. Sometimes being a nerd didn’t pay while other times it was a definite advantage. In some physical matters he was far better than the basic jock, but most of those dealt only with a lover.

The wedding was beautiful as expected. It didn’t matter the bride had been eight months pregnant. His sister, Aingeal, had found someone she could love forever. It was a good thing for Fearghus Brodie he returned the feelings because Cuinn wasn’t sure what his mother would have done to the man.

Rarely in life did someone find the perfect person, a soul mate, but all of his older siblings managed to do exactly that. He sighed, glad he decided to come home for the event as his sister left the choice to him. Aingeal’s wedding had brought a bigger crowd than the other two because people couldn’t believe she would actually get married. All the family wanted to see if the wild child would follow through and make it to the end of the ceremony.

He turned back to the bar set up for  reception and drank his beer. He supposed he should be careful since he really didn’t want his mother to catch him. Not that he didn’t drink, he did on occasion, but there was a whole lot of difference between grad school and home. College was in Boston and a whole world away from the North Pole. Down south was where he could be himself and not worry about his elven magic because he knew how to mask it well.

“Dance with me,” a seductive voice said close to his ear.

Tingles traipsed through his insides and his body tightened in response to the seductive nature of her voice. “What?” Instant attraction to the female caught him off guard. He turned his head and his mouth brushed against a pair of soft pink lips as an exotic scent wrapped itself around him.

“I said, dance with me.” A pair of beautiful brown eyes stared up at him.

I love, love, love these elf stories. They are fun to write and from what I’ve been told, even more fun to read! I hope you’ve enjoyed this little look in my elf world. Matter of fact, some of the stories in the series is on sale.

Welcome to week 123^rd week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is Our Sexy New Year. This theme can mean a lot to a person. It can mean a year full of resolutions and goals. It could mean a year full of love with that special someone. And for some, it could be not so good but they are hopeful as the first month rolls in.  
While I don’t have a story specifically about the New Year, I do have a series that’s all about hope and love and new beginnings. The series is my Santa’s Elves series and I can’t wait to finish it out this year. But for this week, I’ll be posting something from the fifth story in the series, An Elf’s Magic. This is definitely one of my favorite series and I can’t wait to get back into it.

There will be a Monday’s Austria Scoop and Tuesday’s My So-Called Writing Life this week as I’m back from taking a total vacation because of the holidays. It’s good to be back but I am super busy and you’ll get the whole scoop on it this week.

This week’s story is An Elf’s Magic. It’s the 5^th book in the series about a special elf family that runs Santa’s workshop. Here’s the setup:

Lacey Sinclair wants to be a doctor but life and circumstance has made that path impossible.  Given the chance at the job of a lifetime and the promise of enough money to see her through med school, she is hesitant. Something draws her to one certain man that she can’t put her finger on. Her body is alive and her mind sharp, focused when she’s near him. So before she can live the life of her dreams, she must discover just who Cuinn Lochlin is to her and her future. 

Here’s my seven paragraphs from An Elf’s Magic:

“Ah, hell—” Cuinn swooped down on her and captured her lips with his. He couldn’t help himself. From the moment she walked into the conference room that morning, all he could think about was having her in his arms. He should have told his father at the wedding last year about his desire for her, but her place hadn’t cemented in his heart yet. Now there would be no stopping their bonding.

Gently, he pulled back and gazed at her. “I’ll stop if you want me to.”

Lacey quickly shook her head. “No. I’ve never felt something so right.” She pulled his head back to her and his lips captured hers with no tenderness this time, just a hard, raw need.

Still, he knew she needed tender after what had happened to her this past year. Changing the tone of his onslaught, Cuinn gently sucked her bottom lip and ran his hands softly down her arms. Rewarded with a slight shiver, his body tightened in response to her body’s signals as his caress slipped around to her soft buttocks.

The rapid beat of her heart drummed against him, showing how aroused she truly was. She would be the core of his world and he wanted everything to be right for their first time, so trying hard to remember all the lessons on sex from his father. First, he put up his shields knowing some people in the city would feel the energy. Then, he snapped the glamour spell more firmly around himself because there were some things she couldn’t know until they had reached the North Pole. Cuinn only hoped she would forgive him once all had been revealed.

Breaking off the kiss, he breathed hard as he gently cupped her face in his hands. “Tell me to stop right now and I will because you have to be very, very sure you want this to happen.”

“I am…believe me…I am,” she whispered.

Welcome to week 98^th week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is Our Sexy Man and it was pretty open but absolutely dedicated to the sexy men in our books. Each of my stories has a sexy man, sometimes two but all of them the kind any woman would love to meet.

Just a few reminders before we get into the snippet. My blog is always hopping with Monday’s Austria Scoop where I talk about Austria and Tuesday’s My So-Called Writing Live where I talk writing and life. Both can be incredibly boring or incredibly exciting. Some weeks it’s a little bit of both.

Today’s book is one that is in my Santa’s Elves series at my traditional epublisher, eXtasy Books. This is a wonderful series about the elves that help Santa at the North Pole. While the first book was sexy and sweet, each of the others have taken on some darker aspects of magic. This one shows that making people forget isn’t always the best thing. Here’s the set up:

Every contour of his body was rock solid. Her breath hitched and she tried hard to control her breathing. Licking her lips, she looked up at him and lost herself. She wanted to kiss this man, to touch him like a lover, to have him inside her as quickly as she could. Before her thoughts could get the better of her, she brought to mind images of the president, of Gandhi, of Mother Teresa, but nothing would to stop her passionate feelings. Her very being wanted this man.

This is the fourth book in the Santa’s Elves series for eXtasy. Right now there five of the six books completed with the last one slated for later this year. There is also a couple of novellas that I want to get completed in this world as well. The whole series is about a family of elves who work for Santa and all about their lives. Welcome to week 86^th week of My Sexy Saturday. The week’s theme is A Long Sexy Time and  it was noted this theme would mean different things for each authors. Before we get into today’s snippet, don’t forget to visit on Monday for Monday’s Austria Scoop where I talk all about life in Vienna, Austria and Tuesday for My So-Called Writing Life where I talk about the fact being a writer isn’t all limos and tiaras.

When deciding about what story I would use this week, I realized I was going to cheat and would be adding more than just one snippet. Yes, I know this is against the rules, I made them, but it’s not often that I get to admire a couple who had never had their own story. At least not yet. In my Santa’s Elves series, there is a couple who are mentioned at least once in every book. This couple have been together a long sexy time and their love shines through everything they do. From how they raised their children to how they dealt with each of them falling in love. Sometime in the future, we’ll see how they deal with their grandchildren and we’ll even see how they started it all.

Can’t you tell I just love this series? LOL! The first snippet this week comes from the story An Elf’s Magic:

He nodded his head in the general direction of his parents and her gazed followed. At a table away from most people sat Janice and Bevan. Bevan held his wife’s hand tenderly and their heads came together as they talked. Even without knowing they were married, she would have understood they meant something to each other. The way he looked at her and her him, the gentle touches, the soft little kisses. They had something very special.

“Will it be like that for us?”

He looked at her surprised. “For us?”

She turned and looked at him. “You know, for us. They’ve been together how long?”

“I guess thirty five years or so, I mean Jedrick is almost thirty four. They always celebrate their anniversary in the spring. But I don’t even know when they got married.”

She smiled. “Look at them and not with the eye of their son. Those two people are in love, really in love. They will die in each other’s arms. We should be so lucky.” She turned back to see him swallow hard. “Sorry, but it’s how I see them.”

“Until you commented on them being in love, I never thought about them as anything other than my mother and father.”

The second snippet comes from The View From Santa’s Sleigh:

“He’s got to grow up sometime, Janice,” her husband said in a quite voice.

“But this way, Bevan?” she questioned, turning to look into his deep blue eyes. “Surely not this way.”

“What way is that, Janice?” Santa’s question intruded upon their conversation.

Janice turned sad eyes toward him. “Santa, what is going on?” she questioned tensely.

The old man drew himself up and sighed. “I brought home a present for Jedrick,” his normally calm voice boomed into the tense silence of the room.

“A what?” Janice asked.

“Really?” Bevan questioned, beaming, only looking serious when his wife threw a scathing glance in his direction.

And my final snippet comes from The Thing About Elves:

“Well…you had something to do with the first one…and she brought this second one!” Janice cried. The small woman stood there defiantly, arms crossed over her chest.

“I thought we’d decided that whatever our children did had nothing to do with Santa or him bringing Tessa home in the first place?” a calm voice questioned from the door.

“You might have.” She turned and faced the man standing in the doorway of Santa’s office.

“Our children have their own lives, Janice. And that includes sex. We always knew and hoped that each of them would find a mate one day.”

Janice rubbed her head. “God…why does elf sex have to be so magical?”

“Would you want it any other way, wife?”

Looking at her husband, a slow smile spread across her face. “Absolutely not.” She stood there for a moment. “But that still doesn’t change what’s happened.”

Welcome to week 59^th week at My Sexy Saturday. This week is all about couples who are really into each other. It was hard to pick out just what book to showcase this week but I finally decided to go with my series that is all about family, friends and lovers…my Santa’s Elves series. I love writing this series and will be getting back to it here shortly. Keep your fingers crossed.

The weather here in Austria turned ugly this week as we’ve been inundated with rain most of the week. And there is so much of it, there is a real fear of flooding over here. Today, there was even a roll or two of thunder. Pup Harry doesn’t seem to mind much, at least not during the first half of his walks. When he starts getting drenched, he looks up at me like the wet puppy he is and we both wonder just what we’re doing out in the rain. But nature calls and I make sure he gets his three walks a day, rain or shine. Let’s just hope that the rain goes away as expected early next week and that we aren’t as flooded as predicted.

Today I bring to you that is book five of my Santa’s Elves series. It is one of my best loved stories and I’m still got a few books before I can call it complete. In them, every one of the couples find each other and fall deeply in love, almost from the moment they first met. I my mind that fulfills the requirement of this week’s theme, Sexy Into You. Yeah, these guys are really that into each other right from the start. Yet, this one takes them on a slight detour that could have devestating repurcussions except the heroine knows something isn’t quite right. Here’s the set up for An Elf’s Magic.

Sexy Saturday

I don’t know if you are all aware of it but besides my Twitter and this blog, I have a yahoogroup as well and every Saturday is known as Sexy Saturday.

What happens on Sexy Saturday you might ask? Well, what doesn’t. I talk about books, post excerpts and generally try to have a fun time with it altogether. I mean, why shouldn’t we? It’s all about sexy men and wonderful romance stories, right?

I am also likely to post something from my works in progress there to see what the audience review just might be, same as here. But it’s more of a way to talk to you, one on one, about life and everything else that happens to us.
