Welcome to week 121^st week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is Her Sexy Fantasy and I just love this theme though I don’t use it very often. Not that I haven’t thought about that as it’s a wonderful trope but just not one that’s easy for me to write about.

So, I had to really dig deep to find story where I’d used it well. The only story I really found was the very first story of mine that was published. This story is one where I walk the fine line between erotic romance and erotica.

Still I’ve not got the Monday’s Austria Scoop and Tuesday’s My So-Called Writing Life columns up recently and there’s no excuse. Unless you want to call starting a resistance and excuse. Yeah, the presidential race in America has me thinking that a resistance needs to be started. If you’re wondering just what all I’m talking about, just go check out my Facebook page and you’ll see it in all its glory. I really do plan to be more consistent. Sigh.

This week’s novella is Captive Illusions: Iain and Kelsy. Here’s the setup:

Every woman holds deep inside her a dark fantasy.  Some dream of forced sex, some dream of being tied up, others dream of being swept away to a place from which she can’t escape, some dream of places and times in the past and others still dream about the forgotten realms where vampires, werewolves, elves and more exist…no woman knows how she’s going to react until it happens.  And sometimes that fear and anger at being controlled turns into a wanton desire that even the most frigid ice queen can not deny. 

Here’s my seven paragraphs from Captive Illusions: Iain and Kelsy:

“I’ll tell you if we can talk about...our fantasies.”

Kelsey lifted her head and arched her eyebrow. “Fantasies...where did that come from?” They had gotten quite friendly in the last few months, but she didn’t know if she was ready for this.

“You do remember our last conversation?”

Kelsey frowned, trying to remember the last time she had seen him. Queuing in on the specific moment, she closed her eyes and sighed. She had only promised because he said he would tell her about his life, if she told him all about her fantasies the next time they saw each other. “I remember.”

He smiled at her then, and she knew he wasn’t going to let her out of this. It had taken him weeks to maneuver her into this position. He wanted to know about her fantasies...her sexual fantasies...and he was going to push until he got what he wanted from her.

“Did I tell you that you look beautiful tonight?” He placed his hand in the small of her back and led her outside to a table on the far side of the pool.

Kelsey didn’t know whether he was bluffing or telling the truth. She dressed simply tonight because it was a hot desert night. She wore a sage green sundress, sandals and no makeup. Underneath her dress a lacy thong touched her skin, something her roommates had talked her into, and nothing else. She almost regretted wearing it, but the way it moved against her body when she walked made her glad she had taken the risk.

Welcome to week 104^th week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is Late Summer Sexy. And in looking at my books, I was surprised that I don’t have really have one summer book. At least, not late summer. I do have one, which happens in summer in the desert. So, I’ve chosen to highlight it this time.

My blog is normally hopping with Monday’s Austria Scoop where I talk about Austria and Tuesday’s My So-Called Writing Life where I talk writing and life. I say normally because this week was anything but normal. If you looked at my author page on Facebook, you’ll see why it was a trying week for me. Along with the heat, I’ve really not wanted to do much this past week.

Today’s story is one that has a very special place in my heart because it is my first story published ever. It had been requested by a publisher and just as quickly rejected. Another publisher friend of mine kept bugging me until I sent it. The rest is history. Here’s the setup:

Kelsey’s heart thudded in her chest. This man could turn her on with a look, a touch, a kiss…but there was something more here than his seduction of her. She had to decide here and now if this was what she wanted…would always want. “Don’t I get some say in the matter?” she managed to whisper.

Iain drew back and looked at her. “Are you sure that you really want to know? Wouldn’t you rather be loved and sexually satisfied? And yes…if you don’t want me, I will leave you alone…even though it may kill me in the process.”

She knew she deserved to know everything…there was no other way that he would be able to keep her. She frowned then. “If I am to make an informed choice…then yes…I need to know everything about you and why I am so drawn to you. And I think you’re being way too dramatic.”

He reached up and smoothed her honey-colored hair from her face. “My name is Iain MacEwan. I was born in the year of our Lord, 1195 and turned when I was in the prime of my life.”

Kelsey gasped. “What are you saying, Iain?”

“You’ve had your fantasy in more ways than one, m’lady. The very fact that you even wished an encounter with a forbidden being turned me on.” He watched her face and saw things slowly sink in.

“Who…no…what are you?” Kelsey questioned, almost fearing the answer.

This story happens in the hot southwestern desert in the late summer time. Though it’s not really the sexy setting one imagines when talking about sexy summer stories, it is definitely up there as far as the sexy goes. Welcome to week 97^th week of My Sexy Saturday. This week’s theme is Our Sexy Best and the idea came from a Tina Turner song, The Best, and the line ‘Better than all the rest.’ I remember that song and remember how I loved it when it came out. And it brought to mind many of my stories because in each one, the characters have run up against their significant other and that other is better than all the rest they’ve had before. They know they’ve found their soulmate when they meet.

Don’t forget Monday’s Austria Scoop where I talk about Austria and Tuesday’s My So-Called Writing Live where I talk writing and life. Both can be incredibly boring or incredibly exciting. This week it will probably be a little of both.

Today’s book is one that is being revamped for my traditional epublisher, eXtasy Books. I think I’ve mentioned before that they have us re-edit and re-do the cover art when the contract renews. It’s about a woman’s darkest fantasies and how Kelsey has them fulfilled. I’m showing the new cover art for the very first time and hope you love it as well as I do. Here’s the set up:

She allowed her mind to drift. Just how long had she been here, anyway? And where was he? Kelsey hadn’t heard a sound from him since his last command of not to move.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she took assessment of her predicament…bound by hand and foot to a large bed. Kelsey could see it in her mind’s eye…it was huge with four posters…as huge as she imagined the man who brought her here to be. She tugged on her restraints slightly. The man sure knew what he was doing…the restraints were loose enough that they didn’t hurt, but strong enough that they held her in the spread-eagle position she now found herself in.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, she was facedown on this huge bed. Kelsey didn’t know what the material was, but it was the softest thing that she had ever felt, and it was cool against her hot cheeks. She was blindfolded. The only piece of her clothing that remained was her blue, lacy silk thong…she couldn’t wiggle too much or it would inch up her crack, making her even more conscious of her lack of other clothing.

I will not cry, she told herself fiercely. She had heard once if you allowed your captor to know just how scared you were, things would get worse. Kelsey allowed her mind to drift over the evening that had resulted in her being here.

Slowly the door opened and she could tell that she was being watched again.

“My, my…now that I have you here, whatever am I going to do to you?” The voice--rich, full, sinful and definitely male--held just a hint of brogue.

Oh, God, she thought feverishly, I’m in trouble now. Kelsey began to struggle in earnest.

This is the first book in the Captive Illusions series for eXtasy. The second one is Captive Illusions: Merrick and Jenna, which hopefully will be later this year. The whole series is about a woman’s deepest desires for the unknown and different type of love.
