It’s week 34 at My Sexy Saturday and
I had a really cold week this week. We had a combination of snow, rain and ice,
which makes for some slow and frigid walks. Thank goodness pup Harry has his
own coat. There were times though where I thought I might have to drag out his
sweatshirt one to put on him…it was that cold…LOL! Again, I am hoping that
everyone is keeping safe during this very weird winter weather.
For those who are making
their first visit here, My Sexy Saturday is a weekly blog hop where authors
share sexy snippets of their books with 7 words, 7 sentences or 7 paragraphs.
Each week we entertain you through our snippets that we post. This is for you,
our readers, as we value and appreciate each one of you.
Today, we have we’re still in
Chapter 5 of Loving the Scotsman. When two lovers reunite in Edinburgh after a
fifteen year hiatus, the sparks fly. When the hero coerces said heroine to
spend her remaining time with him…well…let’s just say more than sparks light up
the room. We’re continuing on with the dinner scene from our couples first real
date since the first time they were together. The hero’s parents so up and this
is one of the lighter moments of the evening.
I loved writing this story as
I got to stretch my wings a lot. It’s told totally in 1st person
from both the heroine and hero. It’s
a very unique approach and I had to talk to a lot of men, especially the dear
husband, when creating the hero Logan. Here are my sexy 7 sentences for the
week. Enjoy!
The man did have a
heart after all. I’d not once seen this reaction from him during any of the
time I‘d spent with him when I was with Logan before. “That’s the way it should
be.” I again squeezed Logan’s hand under the table, not quite ready to share my
rediscovered love with the rest of the world.
“I agree. Were your
parents just as happy with each other?”
The question came from Logan and was reasonable, as we hadn’t talked about
my parents much before.

authors from My Sexy Saturday weekly blog hop listed below. If you want more on
this story, here are a few links to the previous snippets.
Have a great weekend...see
you next week!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by...I appreciate it.
She's really taking meeting his parents well. :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you're staying warm! It finally warmed up to just below freezing here. After -18C temps for a few days, I'll take it. :-)
